Events Description
Continuing in the tradition of past festivals, the Manito Ahbee Festival will support an Indigenous Marketplace. The Virtual Marketplace is a directory that consists of Indigenous run and owned companies, many businesses. In addition to the conventional IMTS which has been a platform for artisans, fashion designers, business and organizations to showcase their traditional and contemporary art and information, the virtual marketplace is a one stop shop digital platform that brings IMTS to you on the go whether it be in your home or while your at work or just out and about.
Hybrid Virtual events will continue in 2022 which will include Spirit Visions 48 hour film challenge, Starblanket Competition, Ribbon Skirt Competition and Music Video Competition.
Kick off and Lighting of the Sacred Fire | Wednesday May 18, 2022
Join us for our festival kickoff walk (from Provencher Park to Memorial Park), lighting of the sacred fire, and round dance.
