Events Description
Winnipeg has joined other cities in launching a kilt skate for pandemic times—a stay-in-your-bubble, pan-Canadian event: the Great Canadian Kilt Skate: Home Edition! Everyone, everywhere can join: at The Forks, on your backyard rink, on the outdoor rink at the community centre, on the frozen pond down the road. To participate, simply put on your tartan or kilt, head out on the ice and share your photos and video clips!
Be sure to include the #KiltSkate2022WPG hashtag to your social media posts so that you’re counted in the contest to see who wins the Kilt Skate Capital of Canada. If you don’t use social media, you can email photos to kiltskatemedia@ottscot.ca.
