Events Description
Venture inside FortWhyte Alive’s bison prairie for an up-close encounter you’ve got to see to believe.
See North America’s largest land mammal from just meters away, interacting in their natural habitat. Go on an adventure into our prairie past, and leave knowing more about how bison have shaped Canada’s history.
Our bison safaris are a summer favourite for families, photographers, and out-of-town visitors looking for an epic Manitoba experience.
- Tour length is 1 hour.
- Group sizes will be restricted to households only to follow current public health guidelines.
- We encourage you to bring a camera (and to take a bison selfie!).
- You must remain on the bus at all times.
- The bus does not accommodate wheelchairs; passengers must be able to board the bus independently.
- Bison Safaris are dependent on the weather and ground conditions; we may have to cancel or postpone a tour.
